Raise a glass as we toast the return of thoroughbred racing to Belmont Park Racetrack and welcome the fall racing season. Come enjoy local, national, and international wines in the North Shore Terrace, the 4th floor clubhouse, with sweeping grandstand views of the racetrack. Select craft beers will also be offered as a compliment to the event’s wine offerings. Food will be available for sale. Betting windows will be open for those who are feeling lucky. Attendees will enjoy an in-track climate-controlled setting which offers sweeping views of the track and convenient betting windows.   The grandstand viewing area is the perfect place to watch and bet on the day’s races.

For more than a century, Belmont has been the stage for many of racing’s greatest legends, from Man o’ War to Curlin, Beldame to Rachel Alexandra, and Seabiscuit to Cigar and most recently, the 2018 Triple Crown winner, Justify.   It plays host to the finest thoroughbred racing in the country… Now it hosts their first wine tasting event.  Attendees will enjoy offers sweeping views of the track and convenient betting windows for scheduled day races.

TICKETS INCLUDE:

• Admission to Belmont Park beginning at 11am

• Admission to the exclusive wine tasting event (doors open at 1:30pm)

• A souvenir tasting glass & racing program

Tickets are $50pp (plus tax and fees) when purchased online in advance. If the event is not sold out, tickets purchased on event day will be $65pp (plus tax and fees).

All attendees, including designated drivers must be 21+ and show valid photo I.D. at the door to be admitted. No Exceptions! No children, toddlers, infants, strollers, or pets are permitted. All ticket purchases are final sale, no refunds or exchanges. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.

VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks at the event, including: setting up the event, scanning tickets, processing attendees, handing out glasses, pouring wine, delivering ice, and clean up. Volunteer duties will be assigned at the festival at the "Volunteer Registration Desk" upon check in. All volunteers must be 21+.

Saturday, September 14, 2019:

Shift #1 runs from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

Shift #2 runs from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Photographers:
Sometimes the best pictures and stories are caught by our volunteer photographers and attendees at the festival. Therefore, we need some volunteer photographers to help us capture great festival moments. If you sign up to be a “volunteer photographer,” we ask that you commit to the entire event. We ask that all photographers send us a DVD/CD of the photos they have taken within a week of the event taking place. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form below, providing us with your name, email address, phone number and the shift you are interested in working. The Volunteer Administrator will confirm your shift and follow up with you as the event date draws near.

N6 (NICE Bus Line): Operates along Hempstead Turnpike, West Hempstead, Franklin Square, Elmont, Hollis and Jamaica. From Jamaica, the bus starts at Jamaica Bus Terminal (165th Street & 89th Avenue) and runs along Hillside Avenue to Francis Lewis Blvd. to Hempstead Ave. Stops in front of Belmont Park. Connections: Transfer from the F Train at either 169th Street or 179th Street stations. Q110 (MTA Bus): Service provided every 20 minutes to and from Belmont during racing days. Buses are available at Parsons Blvd. and Hillside Avenue and from Parsons Blvd. & Archer Ave., and various locations eastbound on Jamaica Avenue and Hempstead Avenue in Queens. Connections: Transfer from F Train at Parsons & Hillside; Transfer from E Train at Parsons & Archer. Q2 (MTA Bus): Originates at the Jamaica Bus Terminal (165th Street & 89th Ave.) and runs along Hillside Ave. to 187th Place to Hollis Ave. and ends at Hempstead Ave. and 225th Street adjacent to Belmont Park. By Subway:
Take the F train to 169th street or 179th street then take the N6 or the Q2 bus to Belmont or take the E train to Jamaica Center (Parsons Blvd.) and then take the Q110 bus to Belmont.
Hempstead Station: Walk one (1) block to the Hempstead Bus Terminal. Take either the N70, N71, or N72, which will drop you off on Hempstead Turnpike opposite the Nassau Coliseum

The event will be held, rain or shine.  All ticket purchases are final sale, no refunds or exchanges given.  The event is held indoors, on the 4th floor of the Belmont Park Racetrack in the North Shore Terrace. Attendees will enjoy an in-track climate-controlled setting which will attendees protected from inclement weather.

WHAT DOES ADMISSION INCLUDE?

WILL FOOD BE AVAILABLE?

There will be food available for sale at the festival. Food does not come with the price of admission.

HOW DOES THE DESIGNATED DRIVER TICKET WORK?

A designated driver ticket is available for $12. Designated drivers do NOT receive a tasting glass. They are able to enjoy all the activities of the festival except they are not allowed to sample ANY alcohol.  Any designated driver who is seen drinking will be escorted out immediately.

IS THERE A FEE TO PAY FOR PARKING?

The parking fee is $3.

ARE CHILDREN OR PETS PERMITTED TO ATTEND?

For your own safety, NO children, toddlers, infants, strollers or pets, other than service dogs, are permitted. If turned away, the admission ticket for the caregiver will not be refunded.

IS SMOKING PERMITTED AT THE VENUE?

Smoking will not be permitted inside the venue. There is a designated smoking area outside the venue.

Starfish Junction Productions is dedicated to the safety and security of ALL attendees, exhibitors, staffers, and guests. Please use common sense and remember that what seems harmless to you may appear like a threat to someone else. All attendees must adhere to show rules, are subject to search upon entering the event, and are prohibited from bringing in the following items:

· outside alcohol, glass bottles, cans, outside food/beverages, metal water bottles
· weapons (i.e. knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, any concealed weapons, firearms, etc.), illegal drugs, chemicals, fireworks, smoke bombs
· unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.

Smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes or vape pens) is prohibited in the venue/under tents. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.

Infants/Children/Strollers…No one under 21 will be admitted. Valid photo ID is required for entry.
No pets are permitted at the event (unless they are service dogs with accredited tags/paperwork)

Event management reserves the right to handle each occurrence on a case by case basis. Depending on the item, the guest may either be asked to remove the item from the facility or dispose of the item, or may be ejected from the facility.
